| 3/29/04 1:17:54 PM: Food in China is interesting to say the least. People that live near China accuse their people of eating anything that moves, and the Chinese don’t contend this. I’m not 100% sure, but I think those are cow brains on the left, and it looks like chicken feet and chicken heads on the right. Today I saw some kind of grub–larvae. It was the size of a large, fat acorn, dark brown, and half of it was gyrating. They drop it in oil for a short time, and, well, I’m not totally sure how you eat it. These worm things are expensive, and the man would not sell me just one. |
